Bluegills are in the 4-5 ft depth range. They can be caught on leaf worms fished beneath a bobber. The best location is by Trinkes and in Geneva Bay. A lot of the bluegills were in the 8-9 inch range, like I said earler, I did catch several over 10 inches this week as well.
Bluegills are biting in the 12-13 ft depth range. The best location is by Browns Channel or in front of Township Park.
Some small Bluegills can be caught around the boat dock in Geneva Bay. The best bait is leaf worms fished on a slip bobber. Within the next few weeks, the bluegills will be in very thick as they begin to spawn.

With the cooler water temperatures, the walleye are throughout the water column. I’ve caught fish as shallow as 3 ft and as deep as 23 ft. Some of the fish I’ve caught have been on nightcrawlers and some have come off of fathead minnows.
