I prefer Bandit lures in the pearl color. Crappie fishing has been very slow. They are very sporadic, and the schools are not well-defined. The crappies I’ve been catching are suspended in 20 feet of water.

Walleyes are being caught coming off the weed line in 20 ft of water. The fish are on the main lake points. Most of the success has been coming from large leeches fished on either a Lindy rig or a split shot rig with a chartreuse-painted hook.
