Perch action has been good on the west end just outside of Viewcrest Bay.  The best approach is either slip bobbering or straight lining hellgrammites beneath the boat.  The best depth range is 20-22 ft of water.

Perch fishing has been pretty good.  The fish have been biting on hellgrammites or ½ of a nightcrawler.  The best depth has been 17-19 ft.  The best location has been on the west end of the lake by the Island.

Walleye pike fishing for me has been pretty much non-existent.  It’s basically just the time of year and where I’ve been fishing.  The best approach is trolling deep diving crank baits along the weedline in the pre-dawn hours.

Fall has officially arrived on both the calendar and the temps. After about 10 days of high temps and high pressure, we’ve seen a significant drop and for the past few days high temps have struggled to get into the lower 70’s. Largemouth bass are biting again with the weather change.
