The best depth has been 18-20 ft of water. I don’t have any clue what happened to the big ones.
Bluegills and Perch are still biting however the size was quite a bit smaller than in past weeks. Most of the anglers fishing for them are anchoring in 15-19 ft. of water.
Bluegills have again moved shallow. Most of the success is coming near the Island on the west end. Most of the fish are coming on red worms or leaf worms. Work a depth of 14-16 ft of water. Anchored slip bobber fishermen are having most of the success.

The best location is under the bridge on the inlet. For the deep weedline fish, try casting nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig. Some of the bass I caught last week were 17-18 inches. Walleye fishing remains very slow. Most of the fish are being caught on small suckers or fat head minnows. The best depth is about 14-16 ft of water.
Northern Pike have been almost non-existent. I’ve been catching one here and there. I actually caught one legal fish this week. I’ve dragged suckers around for hours and hours with very little success.
Northern pike are on the weed lines. They are starting to move into the deeper water. By the end of this week they should be easily caught by lindy rigs.
