Walleye Pike are biting at night on the nights where the wind is blowing. If the wind isn’t blowing, fishing has been very slow. Advertisements
Some crappies are being found by Conference Point on the west side amongst the sail boats suspended in 20 ft of water about 10 ft. down. You can find them on your depth finder. Small jigs and twister tails are a good bet.
The bluegills are starting to show up in pretty good numbers in the shallow bays. The best location was Geneva Bay, fishing in 5-6 ft. of water around the moored boats and by the Riviera Pier. You have to sort through quite a few small ones but could catch a nice meal if you are […]

Northern Pike are cruising the weed flats in 6-8 ft of water. The best locations are in Fontana Beach or in Williams Bay. Fish the northerns with golden shiners and slip bobbers for best results. No size Limit this year.
Rock bass are plentiful, with the cooling water. Wherever you find active rock bass, you will most likely find a few small mouth as well. The best depth has been 8-12 ft. of water. All the fish I caught last week were on nightcrawlers.
Walleye fishing has been excellent at night. The best location has been in Williams Bay, Trinkes Bay or in Abbey Springs. The best approach is trolling medium diving crank baits like Rapalas or Smithwick Rogues. The best colors are chrome and blue or chrome and black.
