Perch fishing has been improving. The fish are starting to move into the 12-14 ft. range. The fish can be taken on slip bobbers or by drifting nightcrawlers. The best location has been by Coleman’s point or by Rainbow point.
Walleye fishing remains a constant bite in the overnight hours. Look for the fish in Trinkes Bay or by Knollwood bay. The best depth is 12-14 ft of water. Trolling medium diving stick baits has been the best presentation.
Lake Trout fishing has been very good in the main lake basin in 108-120 ft of water at first light. I prefer fishing early in the morning as the trout are suspended and easier to catch than when they are tight to the bottom. Use down riggers with chrome/blue or chrome/green spoons for the most […]
