
Wisconsin Fishing 8/13/18 – 8/19/18
Fish Wisconsin News8/19/18 Delavan Lake, Sunny, 77 degrees, light winds out of the east, water temp 81 degrees. We caught 1 smallmouth bass, 16 largemouth bass and a bunch of bluegills. The fish were located on main lake points in 15-17 ft of water. The best presentation was split shot rigged nightcrawlers.
8/17/18 Delavan Lake, cloudy then sunny, 80 degrees, no winds, water temp 80 degrees. All Day fishing trips. Caught 25 largemouth bass, 3 smallmouth and a bunch of pan fish. The fish were off the weed lines in 15-17 ft of water. I concentrated on the inside turns off of main lake points. All the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.
8/16/18 Delavan lake, cloudy, 75 degrees, light winds out of the east, water temp 80 degrees. We caught 15 largemouth bass, 1 smallmouth and a bunch of blue gills. The fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers off the inside turns on main lake points.
8/14/18 Delavan Lake, sunny, 85 degrees, winds east at 10 mph, water temp 80 degrees. We caught 13 largemouth and about a dozen bluegills. Fished a bunch of spots throughout the lake. The average size on the largemouth was 3-4 lbs but we didn’t find any of the big schools. The best depth was 15-17 ft of water.
